Baumann & Crosno Construction is a construction company specializing in building single-family homes in Northwest Arkansas. Established in 2013, Baumann & Crosno Construction has rapidly grown into one of the area’s premier home builders. The company is owned by Mike Baumann and Michael Crosno, with drafting and home design services provided by Lane Barrows Crosno.

Mike Baumann
Managing Partner
Mike’s construction career began after his graduation from The Virginia Military Institute in 1998. Mike started as a Project Manager for Ryan Homes in North Carolina where he oversaw the construction of more than 600 single-family homes, 150 multifamily homes, and three condominium projects in a two state region. While at Ryan Homes, Mike transitioned into the Costing and Estimating Manager position and was responsible for the estimating and cost maintenance for a division that built over 3000 homes during his seven-year career.
Mike finished his career at Ryan Homes as a Sales and Marketing Manager. He then relocated St. Louis, Missouri. As a Project Manager for McBride and Son Homes, Mike led a team which built more than 700 homes, including custom homes and projects requiring land purchase and rezoning. He went on to establish the largest Planned Urban Development in the St. Louis area.
After five years in St. Louis, Mike relocated to Northwest Arkansas and served as a Division President for a production home builder. Over his three years, Mike led a team responsible for the sales, marketing, costing and construction of more than 300 homes in a two state region. Mike’s passion is creating homes that both benefit and foster enjoyable experiences for trade partners, suppliers, and clients.

Michael Crosno
Managing Partner
Michael's residential construction career began when he was 18 years old. While on college summer and Christmas vacations, he worked for a home builder in Hot Springs, Arkansas. His duties included everything from framing and siding homes to electrical work. After earning a degree from the University of Arkansas in Administrative Management with a minor in Real Estate Finance in 2006, Michael began working at Cintas as an Outside Sales Agent.
After three and a half years with Cintas, Michael had the opportunity to join Mike working for a production home building company in 2010. As a Field Manager and Division Construction Manager, Michael oversaw new home construction of over 350 homes in ten subdivisions throughout Northwest Arkansas. He has extensive experience in scheduling, problem solving, estimating and overseeing the entire construction process - from preparing the lot for building to getting the home ready to go through the closing process. Since Baumann & Crosno Construction opened, Michael has overseen the work on over 1,000 home starts and put all operations processes and procedures in place for the field and the office.

Rick Dybas
Construction Manager
Rick grew up learning about construction from an early age thanks to his grandfather and stepfather. During summer breaks, Rick would work alongside them, with tasks ranging from picking up trash, to assisting with framing, to installing flooring. His hands-on learning experience helped mold Rick into the professional he is today.
In 2007, Rick graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Turf Management. After working at several golf courses in Arkansas and Tennessee, Rick moved back to Northwest Arkansas in 2009 to begin his construction career. Since returning, he worked on countless remodels of both residential and commercial projects. While working with homeowners, Rick realized he had a passion for working directly with clients to build their dream homes. In 2015, Rick joined the Baumann & Crosno team as a Field Manager, but was soon promoted to Construction Manager.
Robert Hunsicker
Chief Financial Officer
Robert attended the University of Arkansas for two years before completing his accounting degree at the University of Louisiana in Monroe. In 1984, he earned his CPA in Texas while working for a large oil and gas drilling firm.
His professional experience includes 20 years as a Controller/Chief Financial Officer in Texas and Arkansas. He was also a senior auditor at a regional CPA firm in Savannah, Georgia for five years. He has worked directly with numerous professionals, such as CPAs, attorneys, bankers, retirement plan administrators, insurance agents and upper-level management in various companies.
Robert has lived in Arkansas for most of his life and is a big Razorback fan. He and his wife love the outdoors and spend much of their time doing activities under the sun.

Lane Crosno
Designer & Draftsperson
After receiving a degree from the University of Arkansas in 2006, Lane began her own interior design and custom painting business. In 2013, she began designing and drafting house plans, as well as choosing all interior and exterior materials for our spec homes. She also works as a draftsperson and design consultant for clients building custom homes with other builders under her own company, Lane Crosno Designs, Inc. Lane uses her love of design to assist Baumann & Crosno Construction and their customers create the home of their dreams.
